Donation and Membership FAQ

Where can I mail a check?

Vermont Public Radio

How do I donate stock to VPR?

You can make a stock gift via an electronic transfer through your bank or broker.

What is a Sustainer?

Instead of making a single gift once a year, Sustainers make a budget-friendly automatic monthly contribution on a credit card or bank account - just like you'd pay for your Netflix or Spotify subscription. Your monthly contribution can be in any amount you choose, and your donation will continue uninterrupted until you contact us to make a change. Half of VPR's annual membership revenue comes from Sustainers, providing a steady source of income that VPR turns into independent news, essential music, and inclusive conversations you rely on.

How do I make a change to my sustaining membership?

You can update your address or email, change your monthly contribution, switch to a direct withdrawal from your bank account, or change your credit card information by using this form. You can also contact Jean Murphy, Sustaining Membership Coordinator, membership@vpr.org or at 802-654-4359. To ensure the security of your information, please do not send credit card or bank account information via email.

Where is the thank-you gift I requested?

We appreciate your patience. In an attempt to accumulate enough requests to leverage "bulk shipping" pricing, we generally mail thank you gifts every 4-6 weeks, and within a 4-6 week window following a membership drive. If that amount of time has passed since your request, it's possible your request wasn't captured. Let us know by emailing membership@vpr.net.

Can I get a PBS Passport for my gift?

As you may know, VPR and Vermont PBS are in the process of joining forces to become a single organization. PBS Passport will be made available to all donors contributing $60 or more. We will begin providing access to existing VPR donors in mid-May. All other thank you gifts are currently associated only with either TV or radio fundraisers. If you have more questions about the merger, please check out our merger-specific FAQ page here.
